Indianapolis, IN – Wednesday, November 8th – Indianapolis based Xerox company, Integrity One Technologies, announced today that they will be partnering with Operation Freedom Cares (OFC) based out of Lebanon, Indiana in an effort to spread holiday cheer to those serving overseas this December.
As a whole, Integrity One’s five satellite locations as well as Freedom Church of Lebanon, will be working to collect care package items such as snack mixes, cookies, music and hygiene products from now through December 6th, so that the items can be boxed and shipped overseas by OFC volunteers.
“We are really excited to be working with Integrity One this year as we work to provide service members with a package from home.” Kathy Jedwabny of OFC remarked Wednesday. “This is the 7th year Operation Freedom Cares has commenced and we’re more excited than ever to get these small tokens into the hands of those overseas. Anything from the donation list will go a long way towards helping the mission[…] and of course volunteers are always welcome to help us package and ship the boxes on December 9th. Cash donations are also appreciated and will go towards purchasing any items we run short on for the troops.”
Currently the program will be providing packages to over 60 active military members, but the community is welcome to sign up additional soldiers by visiting www.IntegrityOneTechnologies.com/OFC.
“We greatly appreciate and respect the people who serve, with many of our team members being veterans themselves. Because of that it is incredibly important to us that we let those who are currently deployed know that they are not forgotten as the season of giving comes upon us.” Vice President of Operations, Paul Balser remarked today. “We welcome our partners, community members and customers to join us as well. It’s easy to do and will go a long way towards making someone’s holiday a little brighter this year.”
