Louisville, KY – Local Xerox equipment and service provider, Integrity One Technologies, teamed up with nonprofit Childplace, on Monday to provide Christmas for children living in-residence. Since opening their doors in 1966, Childplace has operated as an orphanage and counseling center, caring for over 1,700 children in the Louisville area.
“We felt it was our duty to reach out and help these kids,” President Sam Castiglione said in an address to the company Monday. “The outpouring from our associates was incredible… It’s our people who make Integrity One such an amazing organization and I’m humbled to lead such a generous team of professionals.”
In addition to the gifts donated through the Integrity One Technology Giving Tree program, the company also collected another $900 through charitable donations from associates as well as a corporate match, which was used to shop for the rest of the items on the children’s lists.
Monday, Integrity One delivered over 200 wrapped gifts for the children to open Christmas day. While there, the team also spent time singing Christmas Carols, eating cookies and reading the classic holiday book Polar Express, with the kids.
“It was an extravagant donation to the children…” Paul Denny, Manager of Outreach & Development noted. “The joy on the children’s faces made it clear they enjoyed [the] visit.”
“We feel fortunate to be in a position to help” Marketing Manager, Chelsea Ligoncain said in a brief statement. “Integrity One had a great year thanks to our customers, dedicated team and engaged community. We were happy to be able to give something back and really make an impact for these kids. We look forward to being able to do more things like this in the future.”
